For bid teams and social value leads

Social value that finds your next hire.

Your staff give an hour, one-to-one, to young people from low-opportunity areas of Bristol and Bath. You get the evidence for your bid and invite the ones who stand out to longer placements.

For tenders from Bristol City Council, WECA, South Gloucestershire, Bath & NE Somerset and central government in Bristol.

Reach

Find the people a job advert never reaches

Work experience reaches a few young people a year. Your whole team hosting up to an hour a month reaches hundreds from low-opportunity areas, across every role you have.

Admin

Social value that doesn't land on your desk

We recruit through school and college careers leads, check every postcode, match each young person to a host, set the tasks, send the invites and sort safeguarding.

Delivery

Promises you can keep for the whole contract

Hours come from your whole team giving one each, from any site. Delivery doesn't stall when one manager is busy or leaves.

Your people

The hour your team looks forward to

Hosts rate the experience 4.9 out of 5. Each gets thank you messages from the young people showing the impact they made.

Reporting

A KPI report you don't have to chase

Every hour records feedback from both sides, impact data and a quote on your impact dashboard, ready for the contract manager.

Hiring

Hires who already know your team

Offer longer placements, apprenticeships or jobs to young people you've already spent an hour with. Not to an empty CV.

From one hour to a placement

Every hour counts and provides the on-ramp so often missing.

Each young person leaves with feedback and a reference. The ones who fit get offered paid work experience, an apprenticeship or a job.

Step 1 · us

One-hour microplacements

Task, conversation, feedback both ways. No prep for your hosts.

Step 2 · us

In-person placement

A morning, afternoon or day at your office for the young people who want more. We set up the invites.

Step 3 · you

Paid work experience, apprenticeships, hires

We fill them with young people you've already met. You run them.

Emma HiggsEmma HiggsSocial Value Coordinator, Bristol City Leap
"I found it a wonderful experience for my own personal growth, and I was thrilled to be chosen and involved. So much so, that I have been talking about this initiative with other colleagues and friends in academia. All noting that this is a clever and resourceful method to provide these individuals with valuable insight, especially at a time when they have so many different paths ahead of them."
